Renovation & Addition

The project includes a full renovation of Hillsboro High School plus an addition to the school to expand the space to meet the current school attendance and academic needs as well as planning for future growth. Interior improvements include LED lighting, flexible collaborative furniture, and new technology.
There will be a new library, cafeteria and kitchen, art spaces, outdoor courtyard areas, community room, and enrollment center. The school will be reorganized with Administrative offices and CTE spaces central to each Academy.

New Elementary School

This is a brand new elementary school planned for a capacity of 800 students. The school is being constructed on Eagle View Blvd in Antioch. This school will be designed to achieve LEED Silver accreditation once completed.

Classroom Addition

This project will include an addition for 8 classrooms. The project will also feature construction of a new library. The cafeteria will also be expanded. Other support functions will also be added to the building.

Stadium Upgrade

This project will add new bleachers to the football/track facility. A new building will also be constructed with concession stand, press box, restrooms, and ticket booth. A PA system and score board will also be added. The final component of this project is site work including fencing, sidewalks, and ramps.

Track Facility Renovation

This project consists of the construction of a new 400 meter track. The concession stand and restroom building will also be torn down and constructed a new. The new building will also include a ticket booth and alumni room. The final component to this project is sitework including fencing, sidewalks, stairs, and ramps.

Facility Renovation

This is a complete facility renovation of the existing school. The new design will be in keeping with the design guidelines of the Downtown Historic Commission. The existing hardwood floors and plaster ceilings will be kept intact as much as possible in the new design. Where original windows remain, they will be replaced with new energy efficient windows that are in keeping with the original design aesthetic. This project as includes new lighting, technology infrastructure and new electrical, plumbing and HVAC.

Addition and Renovation - Phase 2

This is phase II of the renovation and expansion of MLK. The project will include expansion of the cafeteria, kitchen, and adjacent commons area. The athletic locker rooms will be expanded and the music program will be provided a new home. The project will also renovate most of the existing school to upgrade the existing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Facility Renovation and Addition

This facility renovation included new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, new windows and new finishes through the existing building. Two new additions were built to connect the three existing buildings on campus. A new main entrance was constructed on the East side of the building, opposite of the former entrance off Blue Hole Road. Finally, an addition was constructed on the South end of the building to house a new kitchen.

Building Renovation and Addition

This project will transform the old Nashville Southeast Branch Library building into a new Early Learning Center. Classroom Addition

This project is primarily comprised of a 12 classroom addition, but also includes improvements to the existing cafeteria serving area and the library. The library renovation includes filling in the recessed area in the middle of the space and expanding it to take over some adjacent corridor space. The serving lines in the cafeteria will be reconfigured so that two lines can quickly circulate through the line.

Replacement School

This is a replacement middle school on the site of the existing school which has been torn down. The students who previously attended Goodlettsville Middle School are currently at Dalewood Middle School until the campus improvements are completed. The new building is three-stories with an internal atrium space with views to all three levels. This school has been designed to achieve LEED silver accreditation once completed.

Classroom Addition

This project includes four additions to the school building. The first is a 4 room addition which includes two classrooms and 2 music rooms. The second is a 6 classroom addition and it connects the central pod to the South classroom wing. The third addition includes two classrooms and connects the central pod to the North classroom wing. The final addition to the school is at the cafeteria and will allow for additional seating. This project also includes a new fire alarm system throughout the building and a new roof for the central pod.

Classroom Addition

Classroom Addition

The addition to Oliver Middle Prep was mainly comprised of a 9 classroom addition. The addition also included space for a performing arts studio. The final space accommodated by addition to the school was the administrative suite which saw an expansion in this project, as well.

Gymnasium Addition

This project is a gymnasium addition to the existing school building which includes parking underneath. This gym addition project will offer Hume-Fogg High School the ability to play home basketball games on their campus for the first time in many years. The new space will include a ticket booth, concession stand, and home and away bleachers to seat roughly 1600. The courts will be lighted with state of the art LED light fixtures and controls.

Facility Renovation & Addition

This project was primarily comprised of a total facility renovation including all new HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as well as new finishes throughout. The old gymnasium structure was demolished and an addition for new administrative offices was built and long with additions for a new entry and new classroom space.

Museum Addition

This project is an addition to the existing school which includes museum exhibit space, museum storage space, and professional development space. The museum space includes clerestory windows to allow natural light to filter into the space, but maintain ample wall space for exhibits. The spaces in this addition have also been designed for flexible future uses. This project has offered several unique issues with a difficult site due to soil conditions and steep slope.

This addition is a 3 story building planned on the South side of the existing school. The first floor will house an administrative office and new library. Once the addition is constructed, the old library will be renovated and converted into additional classroom space. This project is the first of two planned phases of expansion for this school.
